During the Christmas holidays I put the A-6 aside. I got stuck with the very tiny parts that keep coming off I started with two Mustangs, both from Tamiya.
As always the start is with the cockpitt. The build is good and they look very similar.
With worldwar II fighters it doesn't take long before the fuselages are closed.
The difference is in the weapons. The F-51 got some HVAR's
For the F-51 I ordered the black primer from Vallejo as it will get a natural metal finish.
In the box of the P-51B the Malcolm Hood is present, I think the only difference between Tamiya box 61042 and 61047 will be the set of decals.Both finished now, all small parts were added in the last weeks
