North American F-86F

The first one completed in 2015. I started the build end 2014.
The kit was a pleasure to build no issues during the build.
On a few spots I should have used some putty, but I left it that way, due to the fact that I can't restore the panels.
For the first time I used black primer, beside some drops out of the the airbrush it worked out nice. I did sanded those drops out, but the result wasn't 100%.
During the build I shot a few photos.

I didn't use the decals on the box instead I wanted to do a F-86F used by the USAF Europe at Soesterberg with the 32nd Squadron. The F-86F was used from 1954 till 1956.
There is still one preserved in the Netherlands.
This photo was taken in 2013 stored outside the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum (MLM) in Soesterberg (old museum location).

For the model I used Vallejo model air Silver (71.063) and for the nose and wing tips USAF Green (71.124) The green could be 1 tint lighter.. For the panel wash Vallejo Dark Grey (76.517). The decals are a mix form the ones that came with the kit and Dutch Decals DD48049 'Soesterberg Eagles'.

In the stash a F-102 from Encore and a F-15 from Eduard. On the workbench a F-100. All going to be build as used with the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "The Wolfhounds".
