I wanted to do the panelwash with Vallejo, but for some reason it didn't work out.
The decals are a mix of the ones that came with the kit and Dutch Decals DD48049 'Soesterberg Eagles'.
The paint used was Vallejo Chrome (71064). For the engine area I used a mixture of Vallejo Brass (70801) and Copper (70999) and Van Gogh pastels 4095, 700.5 and 318,5.
A better option was to paint the tail instead of using the decals. One broke while applying.
The result:
As well as "the original". This is the way it was "preserved" at the National Military Museum at the former Airbase Soesterberg.
