Dassault Mirage IIICJ

The Mirage III CJ in Israeli Airforce C/S.
Picked this box up for just under 10€. The kit is date, raised panel lines, but the fit was good. The decals were callenging. The instructions aren't 100%. For example the yellow triangle decals for the upper side of the wings are sown on the underside.
The camouflage took me longer than expexted. The base was done with Vallejo IDF Sand 71141, the masking was done with a variant of blue tack. Than I made a mistakethe next layers were to tick and I had to clean up "rolls" of paint near the blue tack. The other colors Vallejo 71126 and 71125.

Vought F4U-1D Corsair

Build out of the box. It's like all Tamiya models the fit is very good.
To the engine I added some copper wire and the first tries to use Vallejo Cipping Fluid. Didn't work out on the wings as I wanted. I like the effect on the drop tanks. The blue is a mix from Vallejo Model Air 091 Insignia Blue and Model Color 522 Satin Varnish. 
Overall a really relaxing build.
