Hereby the finished P-400 Airacobra. Eduard present it as a wekkend edition, that is a time scheme I couldn't match. The build was realli enjoyable. Most of the decals went on really good, even the pin-ups. They consist of several pieces, because of the car doors on the aircraft.
The panel lines were done with oilpaint. The colors are all from Vallejo.
Thanks for looking.

Douglas A-4 Skyhawk
After the F-16D, I did a few models, but hadn't the energy to take some pictures and post them.
This is the second model I completed in 2017, also started in 2017.
The main colors are from Hataka, for me they worked better than Vallejo in the airbrush. It seemed it didn't dry out that fast as Vallejo, even dilluted. I used HTK-A048 – Light Gull Grey (ANA 620) and HTK-A049 – Insignia White (ANA 511). Other colors came from Vallejo and AMMO of Mig.
After completing ths bird I managed to knock of the inflight refueling probe twice, that's why it is pointing down a bit.
Next time I would paint the red on the intakes, these were the only decals I had a struggle with.
The weapons come form Eduard, panels lines were done with oil paint.
When the weather improves I'll update this post whit some outdoor photos.
Thanks for looking.

Lockheed Martin F-16D IDF
After the F-15 Baz, I finished another IDF jet.
The idea was to build it together with a "Sufa" to do camouflaging simulteanously. That never worked.
For paint this was my firste jet to do with Ammo of Mig IAF Desert Colors: FS 33531, FS 34424 Light Gray, FS 30219 Tan, FS 36375 Light Compass Ghost Gray. Great colors to airbrush.
The decals wern't that good of this kit, some ofthe stripes came lose, these weren't survivable and I made the stripe with a pencil. The kit came with Phyton 4 rockets but decals for it (Phyton 3 decals) and no instructions. The panellines were a bit shallow, to a wash.
The paint instructions of the kit were black and white, It is very clear that this kit is a reboxing of K48010. Kinetic just added 2 small papers with instructions just for the IDF version.
The painting on the tail isn't 100% the Tan should be a bit lower to the base of the tail, just to get the Scorpion into the Tan.
Mostely this is an OOB build the RBF tags are from Eduard, the heat seeker covers on the sidewinders are made from sprue.
For the weapons load I choose the AIM-9 Python 4, GBU-12 mounted on a TER, For some reason I couldn't attach them on the middle and the left point. And 3 fuel tanks, 2 600 GAL fuel tanks and the centerliner. And a Lartinpod near the intake.
Thanks for looking.

McDonnell Douglas F-15B "Eagle" Israeli Air Force
After nearly 4 months, this one is finished.
As written earlier the tiny decals were very time consuming and the instructions of the underside were not useable.
The remove before flight tags are from Eduard (49546) and the F.O.D. covers from Q-M-T (R48002).
Paint is from Vallejo.
Thanks for looking.

Under construction: McDonnell Douglas F-15B "Eagle" Israeli Air Force finished 23-04-2016
Finished today, for now this build is the longest build timewise. It took me 4 months to finish the F-15. Mostely due to the tiny dcals.
Later I'll take some photos with a decent camera.

I don't know the idea behind the way the decals sheet was set up, but I would have prefered another set up. Not left right but on the way you place them on the aircraft (left, right, top and bottom).
The undercarriage is attached, hopefulle I get this bird done in the next view days.
Thank you for reading.

Time for the decals.
Placing the decals on the Baz will be a long stint. It seems that all panels are numbered, the blue numbers.
Above the sheet with the panel numbers, on the right and below to make things worse the positions are not correctly placed on the model.
This will take some time and motivation.
Thank you for reading.
